A lot of horse owners dream of getting away from it all with their horses. located just 6 miles east of the historic town of Galena Illinois, Shenandoah Riding Center is the place to go. This Northwest part of Illinois has one of the most exquisite terrain in all of Illinois.

Thirty (yes 30!) miles of picturesque and manicured trails and traverse the stunning landscape of rugged hills, deep ravines, and panoramic ridge tops through meadows and woodlands abundant with wildlife. Come ride the trails for a day, a weekend, or take a horse vacation and stay a week or more. Shenandoah Riding Center is surrounded with your choice of resort homes in every style and size. They are available to rent for a day or the week. There are many rental options tucked inside the 6,800 acres of breathtaking landscape in The Galena Territory. And last, but certainly not least, there is ample parking space for horse trailers.

Weekend Boarding / Visiting Us

Weekend Boarding, includes stall, stall bedding, turnout pens, trail pass and use of facilities. $45/horse/night.

Staying overnight is only allowed with purchase of a Weekend Boarding package.

Camping $10/night with a purchase of a Weekend Boarding package. Sorry, we have no hook ups so arrive charged up.

Daily trail pass is $20/horse and rider combination includes trail pass and parking.

Membership

Shenandoah's yearly membership programe is available for people who want to use the riding facilities at the Shenandoah Riding Center and the Trails of The Galena Territory.

Yearly $350/person for one year

Family Membershis $450 for four horses and four family members for one year.
